To undertake an apprenticeship, you’ll need to secure an employer who is willing to take you on as an employee. Mission Employable has been created to help boost confidence and provide insight into what employers look for in an apprentice. Attendees will hear directly from employers and apprentice ambassadors, gaining valuable first-hand perspectives and advice. There will also be plenty of tips on how to find an employer and stand out during the application process.

This is a fantastic opportunity to step into the world of apprenticeships and discover how to gain a head start, gaining insight on key skills and attributes employers are looking for.

What to expect:

• Talent Pool Introduction - Learn How we connect aspiring apprentices with employers of all sizes
• Coffee Break - A chance to relax, network (chat), and reflect on information
• Engaging Pannel Discussion - Hear directly from employers as they share what they look for in an apprentice, outline workplace expectations, and answer your questions. Additionally, apprentice ambassadors will also be on the panel to share their personal experiences, offering insights into how they found their employers and what their apprentice roles have looked like. Both employers and ambassadors will be available to answer your questions during the discussion and afterwards.
