Do you want to pitch with confidence? Make more sales? Turn people into ambassadors for your cause?
Mission Possible – the meet-ups for Lambeth businesses making awesome happen – is back with a third event.
On 3rd September, you'll take part in 3 practical workshops where you can practice your pitching and negotiating skills in a safe environment – and hear how the pros do it.
Session 1: Communicating your why – why should we buy into your mission? Get your messaging right by focussing on the customer benefits and on the bigger picture, not just on your activities.
Led by Founder of Ideate Business Design, Ed Lynam. Ed brings to the table over 12 years of coaching, facilitation and business management experience, and recently has set up Ideate to help small businesses communicate their why.
Session 2: Pitching with confidence – what body language tricks can you use to convey confidence and credibility? Practice your pitch in a small group and receive constructive feedback.
This session will be led by Steven Sparling from The Thriving Creative. Steven has been a professional actor for 25 years, has lectured at universities across three continents and run countless speaking workshops. He's currently pursuing a PhD in Creative and Cultural Entrepreneurship at Goldsmith's College too.
Session 3: Sealing the deal – once people are interested, how do you get them to hand over that sponsorship funding, or sign that big contract?
Led by Founder of Tribethink, Tobi Lawal. Tobi has years of experience in sales and marketing for SMEs, and works as a business advisor for Virgin Startups. He has provided mentoring, developed business plans, and delivered a wide variety of workshops to help early stage businesses create a strong sales pipeline.
Local ales and light refreshments will be available.
