Event description

Description

Missional communities have had an increasing impact on the Church in the past few years. Groups of people committed to a geographical area, a ministry or a network are highly missional and can have a real impact on the missional temperature of a church. We are really excited to offer a day looking at how and why churches might adopt missional communities themselves.

One of the leading Anglican churches using the Missional Community model has been Holy Trinity, Leicester, under the leadership of John McGinley. We are delighted that John will be joining us for this event to help us in understanding the concept of missional communities, how they may be applicable in our situation and context, and the next steps we might take if we wanted to adopt the model ourselves.

The day will include lots of time for your teams to discuss the ideas raised.

The event will run from 10am to 3pm and will take place at St Michael and All Angels, Wandsworth (Southfields). The cost is £5 per person, which includes lunch. We encourage you to bring a team to discuss the ideas and issues that the day brings up.
