Event description

Description

"The first duty of love is to listen" said Paul Tillich. This day is about how we as Christians and churches can listen in our local communities so that we can share faith in the ways which come from love and understanding.

Through a mixture of teaching, prayer and practical exercises to help you to try this at home, we will be learning about listening to God through prayer, listening with others and how to listen to our cultural and geographical contexts in depth. The day will be facilitated by Bishop Mike, Canon Sally Gaze and fantastic guest trainer from Rural Ministries, Simon Mattholie.

A day for every Christian who longs to share God's love, which promises a heady mix of deep thinking, laughter and prayer, transforming how you reach out in your community.

Booking fee: £5, to include refreshments and light lunch. CMD grants are available.
