For the first time ever, multi-million international bestselling authors Kate Mosse and Jojo Moyes are pairing up to share tips and tricks from their hugely successful writing careers in this unmissable creative writing workshop delivered by the Women’s Prize for Fiction.
As well as penning multiple bestselling novels, Jojo Moyes is a highly acclaimed screenwriter, including transforming her runaway hits Me Before You and The Last Letter From Your Lover into major films. Kate Mosse, multiple bestselling novelist and non-fiction writer is fresh from staging her first play, an adaptation of her gothic novel The Taxidermist’s Daughter. In 2010, she was the Executive Producer on the miniseries of her novel Labyrinth. In this ‘Mistressclass’, the two friends will share their experiences of novel-writing and the publishing world.
Looking at how translating their work from page to stage and screen has shaped their approach to writing, Kate and Jojo will use this as a springboard for offering practical tips and illuminating insights for aspiring writers – whether you’re a novelist, playwright, screenwriter – or yet to find out! You will be expertly guided through a range of interactive writing exercises and prompts with plenty of time to share your work.
The session will close with a Q&A, providing you with the opportunity to pose your questions to these two outstanding writers.
Join us for a truly unique opportunity to be part of a small group with access to Kate and Jojo’s expertise and experience, delivered with warmth and wit.
