Mitigating Risks Down the Supply Chain
Event Information
About this event
In recent years, with data protection and information security obligations, and the wider effects of both the pandemic and the global economy, organisations have been forced to look more closely at their supply chains, to understand where the risks may lie.
This iNetwork event is an opportunity to consider supply chain risks, how to identify them, and what to do to ameliorate the risks. You will have the opportunity to hear some expert speakers and to ask/raise questions in the session to the wider the group.
What’s on the agenda?
Peter Schofield, Manchester City Council, is Chair of the Connected Procurement & Commissioning programme for iNetwork. Peter will be chairing the event.
Agnieszka Gajli, YPO will provide a perspective on supply chain risks.
Colin Williams, Mansfield College, University of Oxford will be joining us to talk about Supply Chain Security and the Commodity Usage Principles & Assurance (CUPA) Initiative. CUPA is an assurance model that provides a generic basis for assessing whether Commodity Products and Services fall within broad limits of Decency and Good Taste for Trustworthiness.
Who Should Attend?
This is a joint event between iNetwork’s Connected Procurement & Commissioning (CPC) and the Effective Information Sharing & Security (EISS) programmes. This event is therefore aimed at procurement practitioners, commissioners/contract managers and information security practitioners in the public sector.
