Following a fantastic evening last year, we very much look forward to welcoming you into JW3 to celebrate with us.

If you have not yet voted, you will be able to do so until midnight 4th February via thejc.com/mdawards

We are delighted to announce that we will celebrate alongside Little Village, a charity who will be collecting items on the night to give to needy families in the local area.

Little Village mostly pass on pre-loved good quality items, however there are certain items that they have to buy new.

On the evening, it would be greatly appreciated if you could bring new items from this list:

New bottle teats – for Dr Brown, Avent, Tommee Tippee, Nuk or Mam bottles

Weaning cutlery and plates

Sippy cups

Changing mats

Nappies – (they are particularly short of sizes 5 and 6)

Baby toiletries – e.g. bubble bath or shampoo

Children’s toothpaste and toothbrushes – for ages 0-3 or 3-5

Adult toothpaste and toothbrushes – for the parents who visit them

Toiletries for mums

You can read more about Little Village below:

"Little Village collects great quality donations of pre-loved clothes, toys and kit for babies and children up to the age of 5 and then gifts these donations onto local families in need in the area. Families are sent our way by a network of referral partners including health visitors, midwives and children’s centres primarily but also other charities, faith organisations and public servants. Families come in to our centres to choose the clothes they would like for their children. Our model engages the whole of the local community, bringing people together as donors of items, volunteers who power our work and recipients, to ensure that children from across the area have their basic needs met. Little Village has three sites (one in the borough of Camden, one in the borough of Wandsworth and one in the borough of Southwark.) Since our first referral in April 2016, we have responded to 3,600 requests for help, giving out items worth over £1.25million. Our organisation shows what it can look like when a community decides to work together to take action on a social issue that might otherwise feel insurmountable. Child poverty is rising for the first time in 20 years. Little Village offers a simple, practical way of addressing that problem."

Please RSVP to join us on the night, to finish our celebrations of Mitzvah Day’s 10 Year Anniversary together!
