About this event

We would love for you to join us at Mitzvah Day's Interfaith Cooking event which is taking place on Sunday November 17th (Mitzvah Day itself)from 1pm - 3pm at JW3.

We are bringing together a lovely group of people from different faiths and backgrounds to cook vegetarian dishes to be donated to a local shelter.

This is a lovely opportunity to meet like-minded people from different faith communities to share thoughts on social action, whilst peeling the vegetables!

**UPDATE** This year, in an effort to reduce our food waste and carbon footprint, we're kindly asking you to do a fridge sweep. Please bring along any spare food products that you have, that would otherwise be thrown away. This could include anything from vegetables and fruits to pulses and cupboard stores, but please make sure that these are vegetarian, in date and not mouldy.

There will also be a wide range of fun and engaging events going on throughout the day at JW3 for Mitzvah Day for all the family, including Pickling Lessons with Sadeh Farm, Stories and Pom-Poms with PJ Library, Registering as a Potential Blood Stem cell Donor with DKMS and even Upcycling Tote Bags with Leket.

We encourage you to make the most of your trip to JW3 and to take part in the fantastic projects going on here for Mitzvah Day 2019. Booking is not necessary, however, you can find out more about activities here: https://www.jw3.org.uk/mitzvahday-2019

You are also welcome to bring like-minded friends to join in.

We only have limited spaces for this event so if you could please register on Eventbrite.
