This session is hosted by Thread and Press CIC and is running as part of the Try Create Pocklington project and funded by Active Towns East Riding. It’s aimed at encouraging and supporting communities and residents to be more physically, mentally and socially active in Pocklington.

This is an adult session although we allow children aged 13+ is they are accompanied by another adult booked onto this session.

In this session you will learn how to draw and create using mixed-media, including pencil, coloured pencils, watercolour paints, watercolour pencils and pastel. There are no rules! Great for experimenting. You will learn how to:

Draw proportions
Basic shading
Layering techniques
Introduction/recap of different techniques
Adding fine details and texture
