For the past six months I’ve been learning mixing and mastering as part of my Arts Council DYCP - deep diving into EQs, compressors, reverbs, delays, panning, automation, and all the fun stuff that takes a song from demo chaos to release-ready songs.
Now I want to show you what I’ve learnt!
In this free Zoom session, I’ll be:
✨ Looking at the mixes of two brand new songs
✨ Sharing the tricks, techniques, and “aha!” moments
✨ Sharing a rough guide of my learning journey (what worked, what didn’t, and what surprised me)
✨ Giving away some custom presets I’ve made
This is for anyone curious about how songs go from rough demos to finished mixes. Producers, artists, music nerds - I especially want to encourage more women in music production who are interested in learning to mix to come along (we need more women in mixing and mastering!)
