** Special Event Notice **

It is with regret that we have had to make the difficult decision of switching the format of this year’s MK SEND Information Festival back to being fully online instead of the hybrid schedule announced earlier.

The two-day Festival which was originally planned around online workshops on Day 1 and in-person activities taking place on Day 2 (at The Ridgeway Centre) will now switch to being fully online on both days. The dates however have not changed, and the event will still go ahead on Friday 4th and Saturday 5th February 2022.

This was necessary due to the ongoing uncertainty about the spread of COVID-19 especially the new variant and the number of people testing positive and having to isolate on short notices.

We are also aware and mindful of the fact that many of our families, staff and volunteers are vulnerable, and took their feedback onboard about anxieties relating to attending a large event face to face.

Based on our experience of last year’s event (which too was delivered online), we are confident that this change won’t affect the usefulness for our participants and partners. Online format would cause least amount of uncertainty and disruption leading up to the event and also allow maximum participation even for those having to isolate.

The new schedule for both days has now been updated on the event website. Please visit for more details.

We look forward to seeing you all online this year. If you had already booked for one of the in-person workshops, we will be in touch shortly with regards to alternate arrangements.

Thank you for your understanding and co-operation.
