MLOps.WTF by Fuzzy Labs, Meetup #7. 22nd January 2026 x Arm
Overview
This MLOps.WTF Manchester meetup is focusing on AI… but on the edge. We could make a few obvious jokes about taking things to the edge, or keeping you on the edge of your seat. We’ll resist. Mostly.
Edge AI involves putting models directly into the real world, close to the data, often on specialised hardware. This can reduce latency, preserve privacy, and lower cloud costs. For MLOps practitioners, however, deploying and training on the edge introduces unique challenges: constrained CPU, memory, and power, along with limited observability, and unexpected failure modes.
This meetup is about those realities.
Expect practical stories from people working with edge AI day to day. We’ve got speakers from Fotenix and Arm, alongside a Fuzzy Labs speaker, sharing what they’ve learned from building and operating edge AI systems in the real world.
The event is hosted by Arm at their new Manchester offices: No.1 St Michael’s, 36 Jackson’s Row.
Your host for the evening is Matt Squire, CTO and Co-Founder of Fuzzy Labs. As ever, it’s a relaxed, useful get-together for the Manchester MLOps community.
Food, drinks, and time for riveting MLOps conversation provided.
