What is the cancellation policy?

We would strongly advise that you only book onto this course if you are able to attend.

Please note that due to administration and course costs we will only refund 50% of the course fee if a cancellation request is received on or before 23:59 GMT on 9 September 2024. After the 9 September 2024, there will be no refund.

Course places are not transferable.

If you are unable to attend the course following booking, please email info@vetmindmatters.org so that your space can be cancelled and reallocated to the next person on the waiting list.

I cannot attend, can I enrol on another course?

Bookings are non exchangeable. For details about the cancellation policy please see above.

How is the course delivered?

This is a two-day online course. You will need to attend and engage for the two full days that are scheduled to complete the training, and to be recognised as a MHFA First Aider, and receive your certificate. Learning takes place through a mix of presentations, group discussions and workshop activities.

Will the sessions be recorded?

This course will be held online and will not be recorded.

Do I have to be living or working in Norther Ireland to attend this course?

Yes this course is specifically for Veterinary Professionals in Northern Ireland.

Please note: there is a course for those based in England also taking place on 8 & 15 October, and a course for those in Scotland and Wales will be available in 2025.
