Mobile Subsea Laser Scanning for Metrology.

With the following presentations:
DOF Subsea will present an opportunity to learn about an end-to-end AAINS laser metrology solution, as demonstrated at The Underwater Centre in Fort William, with particular emphasis on point cloud measurement to enable standardised metrology reporting.
Presented by Gordon Beattie (DOF Subsea - Survey Innovation Lead)
Deep Ocean will present recent dynamic laser work in West Africa outlining equipment and data acquisition methods and processing laser metrology data as well as discussing future applications.
This will be presented by Stuart Leather (DeepOcean - ADUS Operations Manager)
Presentations will commence at 19:00.
The bar will be open from 18:30 and a buffet provided prior to the meeting.
This event is open to members and non-members of The Hydrographic Society.
There is a charge of £10 cash for admission (please ask at the door if you require a receipt). There is an additional charge of 50p for card payments.
Admission is free for full time Students.
