Video is the future

Testimonial from the 16th Feb workshop: "This was fantastic and exceeded all expectations. I was honestly blown away by what Anna showed us and I am really excited about putting what I have learnt into practice. " David Williams Technical Marketing and PR

To communicate with their audiences, organisations and individuals are realising that video is essential in getting their message across. The problem in the past has been it's taken too much time and has cost too much money.

Not anymore…

Former ITV and BBC reporter Anna Brees will teach you how to film and edit broadcast standard video in this one day intensive workshop using your mobile phone.

Anna will take you through the traditional television models such as the news package, interview soundbite, vox pops and video diary - with the focus on helping attendees choose the best video vehicle for their message.

Unlike other mobile video filming and editing courses, this course is being taken by a professional with many years of experience in the broadcast media.

Anna has trained all of the communications team at Public Health Wales, as well as working with Arriva Trains Wales, the IPO, Admiral, Barclays to name but a few.

Anna recently produced a ten minute news feature for a town in the Vale of Glamorgan, which received 21,000 video views with a very small Facebook ad boost - the entire programme was filmed, edited and presented on a mobile phone.

She believes great content, and story telling via well crafted video will get organic share and your message out to the people who you want to hear it.

You will learn how to film and edit add music, sound effects, graphics, music, voiceover and captions to video.

This workshop will also provide live presenting tips on broadcasting for Facebook, Twitter, YouTube live etc..

This is a hands on workshop where attendees will learn by doing filming, editing and presenting on their mobile phones.

Attendees need to bring their own mobile phone with KineMaster app installed. All other equipment including microphones and tripods will be provided.

This workshop is at the Barry Business Centre on the eastern edge of Barry, very close to the ring road with plentiful free parking.
