About the organiser
Kole is a queer personal trainer and running coach their pronouns are they/them.
They have been running long distances for fifteen years both competitively and recreationally, having completed six full marathons and twenty-five half-marathons. As an England Athletic certified Coach in Running Fitness, Kole uses technique drills and strength and conditioning to reinforce good form in order to circumnavigate running injuries and keep clients running, walking and jumping.
Their practice is concerned with how the body can move to its' optimum capacity. They are less concerned with aesthetic programming and more excited by movement that encourages strength and flow. Curiosity is the foundation for much of Kole's coaching and they use intrigue into the diversity of bodies to understand the best way to train them.
Having recently completed 250 hrs of yoga teacher training with Stretch London, Olympic Lifting with Train Fitness and Foot collective qualifications, their journey to understand movement and the human body is ongoing. A vital part of Kole's approach to coaching is individuality, not one solution fits all.
Accessibility:
The class is an hour of body weight movement for able bodied members of the LGBTQ+ community. It is not accessible for those with more specialist requirements, injured or disabled.
