Join us for a unique educational experience, guided by a renowned bone specialist from Bournemouth University, as we delve into the fascinating world of forensic anthropology. Excavating alongside other junior archaeologists, you will learn to identify the different bones in the human body and recognise distinct skeletal features that reveal secrets about the individual's life. With expert guidance, you'll explore the fundamentals of estimating sex and age from skeletal remains, unlocking clues about the person's gender and how their age influenced their daily existence. As you meticulously analyse the bones, consider what they might tell us about the individual's lifestyle.
