Join Ms Navsheen Kaur, a PhD Student at King’s College London and Mr Gurdeep Sangha, a Data Scientist and AI Research at WPP for a university style lecture focussed on healthcare engineering. 


This interdisciplinary course bridges the worlds of engineering, AI, biosciences and healthcare. Throughout this course, students will delve into the realm of artificial intelligence (AI), understand its principles, and learn how engineering solutions can be applied to enhance patient sleep quality in healthcare settings. Key learning outcomes include understanding the principles of AI, basic engineering concepts and the role of AI in healthcare.


Navsheen Kaur currently serves as an Application Adviser at King's College London, providing guidance to students across disciplines on creating effective CVs, applications, and personal statements. She is also pursuing a PhD in the Faculty of Life Sciences and Medicine, affiliated with the Centre for Education, and is a psychologist by profession. Navsheen's research focuses on emergency preparedness among medical responders, drawing from her multidisciplinary background to improve assessments in healthcare. In addition, she co-leads the #MyNext Steps workshops at King's Careers and Employability, helping students navigate their academic and career journeys.


Gurdeep Sangha is an artificial intelligence researcher and data scientist with experience at WPP, the world's largest marketing firm. Originally from London, he studied mechanical engineering at UCL and is passionate about applying AI and big data to solve real-world challenges. As CEO of an educational consultancy focused on helping students gain admission to their dream universities, he continues to give back to In2Science as an alumnus. Gurdeep's dedication lies in guiding students to reach their fullest potential.
