In addition to speaking on panels, organisers are increasingly asking industry professionals to moderate whole events, offering another opportunity for females to be better represented on stage. This course is designed to equip you with the right skills to keep events on time and on topic as an event moderator, as well as the key component of moderating panel discussions. The course includes script preparation for opening remarks and links, as well as techniques to keep events and panels lively and informative.

Who should attend the course?

This course is designed for women from the real estate industry who are confident speakers but would like to expand their range of skills to moderating industry events. It is particularly relevant for female professionals who are part of the Women Talk Real Estate database

Who is running the course?

Women Talk Real Estate has partnered with Ian Graham, former partner at Trowers and Hamlins, to deliver its Moderating with confidence traning course - part of our Visibility Matters series aimed to traing female professionals for successful stage and media presence.

Ian retired from Trowers earlier this year and in addtion to developing educational courses, is taking up NED positions. Ian has over 20 years of successful event and panel moderating experience and as well as in-house training on the subject within Trowers and Hamlins.

Women Talk Real Estate is a non profit organisation dedicated to increasing the visibility of women in the European real estate industry. Our database connects female professionals with speaking and media opportunities and we provide training for successful stage and media presence.

What's the refund policy?

Moderating with confidence course is designed for 12 people to ensure the best results and time for all to practice. As such we can offer the following cancellation policy:

• Full refund is available for cancellation received on and before the 2 September 2018. Refund is not possible after this date.

• For cancellations received after the 2 September 2018, we promise to do our best to resell your place and in case we do, we will offer you a refund.

• You can transfer your place free of charge to a colleague/peer at any point whilst the registration is open.
  Registration closes at noon on the 1 October 2018.

• All cancellations / transfers must be done through Eventbrite.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
No, you do not need to bring anything with you as we will have your details from the registration process.
