Event description

Description

The Community Safety Partnerships across Buckinghamshire are fortunate to be able to provide training at no cost to delegates to increase the awareness and understanding around Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking, which sit within the work of Adult Exploitation.

This training will help you myth bust, understand the risks, be aware of signs you may spot in your work capacity, what you can do about it and give you information about the referral process for support.

If your work puts you in possible contact with situations where you may see signs of the exploitation of adults then this training will be extremely valuable to you. You do not need to have any prior knowledge of Modern Slavery or other Adult Exploitation.

As the Council Building is in Aylesbury Town Centre, free parking is not available. The nearest car parks are on Exchange Street (cash pay and display) or Friar's Square Shopping Centre (accepts cards, pay on exit). There will be free self serve tea and coffee available. The venue is fully accessible and you will be met at Reception.

Non-attendance without notification 24 hours ahead may be charged for, especially where there is a waiting list.

(The training is 2.5 hours and will be delivered by Hope for Justice http://hopeforjustice.org/.)
