A free event hosted by the Dean of Manchester giving voice to the experiences of Manchester's hidden victims of Trafficking an Exploitation

About this Event

Hosted by The Very Revd Rogers Govender, Dean of Manchester, Hidden Voices is a multi-faith, multi -agency public event which aims to raise the voices of Manchester's Hidden victims of Modern Slavery and collectivise the efforts to prevent trafficking & exploitation in our City.

The event will include talks from Manchester Action on Street Health who will give a talk on 'The Hidden Voices of Migrant Sex Workers', Justice and Care talking on 'Saving lives: Breaking the grip of slavery' and Baroness Beverley Hughes, Deputy Mayor for Policing and Crime.

There will be face-to-face cafe conversations with workers and agencies on the front line combating people trafficking and freeing victims, informative displays, refreshments and entertainment. This event has been organised by Manchester Cathedral in collaboration with Stop the Traffik and Greater Manchester Police Modern Slavery Unit. People of all faiths or none are very welcome to attend this exciting and informative event. Free entry.
