This one-day training event is for organisations and professionals who are not designated first responders but still may either encounter or support potential victims of modern slavery.
Over the course of the day we will be outlining what modern slavery looks like in practice, the systems in place to support victims and hearing from experts about child criminal exploitation, cuckooing and specialist victim support provision. We will finish the day with an interactive table top exercise based on real life case studies.

Melton2 is fully accessible and operates both gender-neutral, male and female toilets.
Lunch and refreshments will be provided. there will be a selection of items to satisfy most dietary needs. However, if you have any specific dietary needs, please let us know. You are also welcome to bring your own cold and pre-prepared lunch.

By car: Melton2, part of Melton Police Station is just off the A63 at North Ferriby on the outskirts of Hull. Follow the signs for the Melton industrial area. Parking has been arranged at Jackson Way for the event.
This space must be used as there is no conference parking at Melton2 other than for disabled parking. It is a short walk from the car park to Melton2.
