Description

Free half day training session commissioned by the Nottingham and Nottinghamshire Modern Slavery Strategic Partnership, paid by PCC and delivered by Hope for Justice, a national agency specialised in Modern Slavery and Trafficking cases and training.

An interactive workshop aimed at frontline professionals working with vulnerable people, community leaders and other staff (paid or volunteers) working (paid or voluntary) for Nottingham City Council and other first responders agencies

On completion of this workshop, participants will be able to:

  • Explain what modern slavery is and identify the different types that exist
  • Recognise the signs/indicators of different types of modern slavery
  • Respond appropriately to a victim / case of modern slavery

Limited places. Light refreshments available. The same workshop will be delivered twice, on 28th September from 13.00 to 17.00 and also 23rd October 2017 from 9.30 to 13.00. The entry to the trainig room is throught the Central Police Station. Parking is available on street for a fee, subject to availability.
