Description

This is a free half day interactive workshop aimed at all staff (paid or volunteers) working for local organisations/agencies that might come in contact with survivors of modern slavery / trafficking or vulnerable people. This training session is for non-first responder organisations and agencies.

On completion of this workshop, participants will be able to:

  • Understand the different forms of Modern Slavery under the Modern Day Slavery Act.
  • Recognise the signs/indicators and risks of different types of modern slavery.
  • Respond appropriately to a victim / case of modern slavery
  • Learn from other people experience (case studies).

This training session is organised by Community Relations Team from Nottingham City Council, paid by PCC and delivered by Hope for Justice which is a national agency specialised in Modern Slavery and Trafficking training.
