Ola Uduku, co-editor of the publication Modernism in Africa, and Ben Tosland, author of Who are Godwin and Hopwood? will speak about the important role of educational buildings in post-colonial Africa, about Tropical Modernism and important trends such as climate-responsive design. Many of these extraordinary buildings are still virtually unknown. Their book will be avialable to purchase on the evening.
