Who is this training for?

It is for anyone who wants to complete the theory component of the adult module 10 - First Aid Training, or Young Leader Module K

We have taken the new SA online training material for module 10 and adapted it to an interactive tutor led version. This session will cover all of the required theory material for validation of the LIFE SUPPORT module 10A / Young Leader Module K. Please note full module 10 / K validation will only be obtained on completion of all three theory modules and a face to face practical session which will be available when situation allows ( module 10B).

Participants are strongly advised to commit to all three sessions in one offered block

Booking

Booking for adults

You will need to have your Scouting(Compass) membership number to hand

Order confirmation and an event reminder will go to the e-mail you enter.

Booking for Young Leaders

Under booking section headed "Contact Information" - Enter the parent/carers name and email address.

Under Ticket 1: - Enter the name and details of the Young Leader attending the course.

This process ensures relevant safeguarding measures are met as all of the emails will be addressed to the parent/carer and the presenters will know the name of the attendee

What happens once you have booked

You will automatically receive an e-mail confirmation (containing all these details and precisely what you have booked).

If you need to amend details or cancel the booking you can do so using the "view and manage your order online" link in your confirmation e-mail.

48 hours before the course is due to start, an automatic e-mail will be sent as a reminder.

24 Hours before the course

You will receive an email containing a link enabling you to join the Online course and providing other relevant joining information. Please check your spam folder if it looks like this hasn't arrived.

On the day

The times stated are the times the event will start, so please aim to log in 15 minutes in advance to avoid delaying the start of the course.

As we would like everyone to be on camera, at some point, please dress appropriately

A notepad and pen will be useful.

An automatic e-mail will be sent at the end of the day. This will ask for your help in shaping future events by providing feedback.

You will be emailed copies of the slide handouts and relevant information within a few days of the course.
