All the training required for Module 16- Residential Experiences

About this event

This virtual learning will be delivered on Zoom alongside our new virtual classroom system, Nearpod. You will need an open browser window to access Nearpod.

Although this can be accessed through a phone, we recommend a laptop or tablet to ensure you get full functionality. We recommend using 2 Devices if you can.

Please use your Scouting email address to book. We cannot send out handouts etc to non-scouting addresses. Please ensure you check your emails when ordering as you will receive your log in details for Zoom when you book.

All attendees must be on the Zoom call at 18:30 to ensure we are set up in time to start the training. Those arriving late, will not be able to access the course.

In this training we will cover all the learning required for you to go on and validate this module with your Training Advisor.

To enable section leaders and those who may support residential experiences for young people, as part of their role in Scouting, to understand the role that Residential Experiences play in Scouting.

- Residential experiences and the development of young people in Scouting.

- Organisation and administration of residential experiences.

- The Nights Away Permit scheme

- Where to locate support and further information whilst planning a residential experience.
