About this event

Join us for a great day meeting and hearing from some of Scotland's best crime writers including MW Craven, Matt Hilton, Michael J Malone, Douglas Skelton, Caro Ramsey, James Oswald, William Hussey, DV Bishop, Jackie Baldwin, Ann Bloxwich Daniel Aubrey and Claire Wilson. There will be four panels during the day when you will be able ot hear about the authors latest books and each panel will include a spotlight session on an upcoming author. Panels will be followed by book signings in the library and the day will end with a three-course dinner where you will be able to socialise with the authors and enjoy a fun 'crime quiz'. VIP tickets will include all four panels and the dinner. Individual tickets for panels only will be available. Dinner only tickets are not available

Waterstones Dumfries will be running a pop-up bookshop throughout the event. Books are also available to order from Moffat Bookshop in Well Street.

Please note, all ages are welcome but this is a crime writer's festival so strong language and graphic descriptions may be used.

Yes, there is ramp access to the side of the building. There is also a fully equipped changing places facility with toilet, adult changing bed, shower and hoist

Is there anywhere to get a meal in Moffat?

Most hotels serve food throughout the day but there are also several coffee shops that provide lunches and snacks

Are dogs allowed at the venue

We normally welcome well behaved dogs into the hall but due to limited space we are unable to do that on this occasion. Guide and assistance dogs are welcome
