The MoJ is launching parental leave days for parents currently on maternity or paternity leave. The inaugural event will take place on Tuesday 4 October 2016 at 102 Petty France. Tea and coffee will be available from 9.30am, with sessions running from 10am to 4pm.
The day will offer those returning to work in the coming weeks or months a structured opportunity to re-engage with their professional selves, network with other new parents and ease the transition back to work. The event will include:
Business updates, including from the Permanent Secretary Richard Heaton;
Practical workshops on alternative working patterns;
A ‘confidence in the workplace’ motivational session; and
Tips from recent parental leave returners sharing their experiences.
