About this event

Do you find yourself unable to switch off your racing thoughts and relax?

Do you want to be able to meditate but struggle to quiet your mind?

Join Libby from Magpie and the Mob froom the comfort of your home for a session of guided mindfulness and relaxation.

Using creative drawing techniques as a focus, you will be guided through a series of mindfulness and meditative practices that will allow you to shut off and get the headspace you need.

About the tutor

Libby was previously an Art Teacher, and after receiving a diagnosis of fibromyalgia knew that she had to make some changes. Struggling to quiet her mind with traditional meditation, she turned to her knowledge of art and blended the two together. Creating a practice that allowed her to have a focus for her meditation which helped her achieve the stress relief she needed.

What do I need?
All you need is something to draw on, something to draw with, access to a computer to join the class and a willingness to try something new.

All abilities welcome!

Whether you consider yourself creative or not, the practice is all about giving ourselves a focus, not creating the next Van Gogh!

Whether you have tried meditating before or never had a go, you will be guided through the entire class.

All classes are different so you can continue your practice with me or come to one-off sessions. You can also attend in-person classes each month and at the change of the season for a special class to reset your mind.

Live Mindfully | Live authentically | Live creatively

Magpie and the Mob was created to bring more colour into our everyday lives, encourage creativity and spread positivity.

After spending 8 years as a secondary Art Teacher, Libby (AKA The Magpie) wanted to take her skills and use them to benefit the lives of as many people as possible. That’s how Magpie and the Mob were born.
