Do you receive compliments from others about your hobby?
Do you have a skill that could help others?
Are you a good listener, warm and empathetic, good with your hands?
Do you make amazing jewellery, soaps, clothes, food, home furnishings, artwork, sculpture or cakes for yourself or others?
Can you design, create animation, take great pics, sing, write poetry, code, build websites, fix computers?
Do you provide a helpful service to others for themselves, their homes or businesses?
If you can answer "Yes!" to these questions this event is for you. You might be a new start-up, have a trading business or be at the start of your entrepreneurial journey with an idea. You're all welcome.
This practical, engaging and innovative workshop will encourage you to start thinking about how you can act on making your hobbies and skills become either your ful-ltime or part-time business. It will provide real strategies to help you get there, and you'll leave the event with a renewed perspective on your abilities and how they can work for you, alongside a practical and doable action plan. For trading businesses, we'll explore your approach to valuing your skills, ensuring that you are pricing your services accurately.
"Monetise Your Passion" is the first in a series of three 13 Rhythms workshops that will help attendees identify their professional development, career and business goals, consider their motivations for what they want and provide tools to achieve them. If you are a recent graduate, a career professional seeking a change, someone with a business idea, a trading business or none of these but need a push to kick start your goal setting, we would love for you to join us.
Hosted in the learning environment of University Square, part of the University of East London in the heart of Stratford, these events will leave you challenged, invigorated and better prepared to work towards your goals, all delivered in a lively and engaging style.
"13 Rhythms events provided me with the confidence boost I needed to stop being a lost graduate and become a successful businessman. I had another big order today!" C.Willcock
