About this event
Greater Birmingham Engage for Success on line conversation to Share + Learn + Inspire
Evidence shows a clear link between mental and financial wellbeing yet almost half of UK adults say they feel on their own when it comes to managing their money.
As companies continue to focus on the health & wellbeing of their workforce, financial wellbeing is one topic where companies are taking a more proactive approach than ever.
James King, Head of Reward & Projects at Compass Group UK&I will share some of the practical ways they have supported the financial wellbeing of their colleagues in a sector heavily impacted by the pandemic.
He will be joined by guest speakers:
Chantelle Perkins, Senior Financial Wellbeing Consultant at HSBC UK who will talk about tools to improve financial fitness
Jess Bonner from Level who will share insights into the role tech has to play in financial wellbeing as well as how the National Wellness Conversation is breaking down barriers and getting people talking about financial health.
We will specifically discuss: -
- Challenges and solutions to supporting financial wellbeing in the workplace
- The impact of financial education on people’s lives
- How tech & behavioural science is helping people make better financial decisions
As always we’d encourage you to share your stories and join in the conversation
Join the Greater Birmingham (Global) conversation every 1st Thursday of the month (with the exception of this one due to the bank holiday)
Nothing to share? Then please do join us to learn and be inspired.
This is a great opportunity to meet up in a global network to learn from each other + be inspired with new ideas to take back into your workspace.
