Monitoring Knowledge Exchange - Sharing learning across the Wildlife Trusts
Event Information
About this event
This workshop is part of the Evidence Emergency initiative, an emerging project exploring Conservation Evidence across Wildlife Trusts, identifying strengths, weaknesses and the support needed to collectively improve.
This workshop is specifically open to engagement and learning staff across the Trusts to discuss how we currently monitor our engagement and learning work, learn from our monitoring and work to improve the outcomes and impacts of our work.
This Evidence Emergency workshop will attempt to capture and share some of the wealth of knowledge held by engagement and learning staff.
Engagement and learning is vital to the achievement of conservation goals from reducing disturbance, enabling species reintroductions and achieving political change.
Are we measuring this work? And are we learning from past experiences? Social science can help us measure and improve our engagement and learning work, helping us achieve our conservation impacts.
This workshop will be chaired by:
Amy Fitzmaurice, Kent Wildlife Trust
Elysia Barker-Davies, Kent Wildlife Trust
Pete Tomlin, Sheffield and Rotherham Wildlife Trust
