Mono and tetrapak printing- a 6 week course (5,12, 19,26 Nov, 3,10 Dec)
Come join us for a creative journey into the world of mono and tetrapak printing! This 6 week course will take place at the Border Lights Gallery, where you'll learn the ins and outs of these unique printing techniques. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned artist, this course is perfect for anyone looking to expand their artistic skills. Mark your calendars for 5, 12, 19, 26 Nov, 3, 10 Dec and get ready to unleash your creativity! The frist 3 weeks we will look at a mono printing technique each session and the second half of the course we will experiment with different tetrapk printing techniques including using chine colle, different colour printing inks and surface inks.
This is messy! Bring an apron, wear old clothes and bring a pack of baby wipes to each session partly to keep you clean, partly to keep your work area and tools clean!
Suitable for everyone as long as you want to have a go, want to tap into your inate creativity, and be experimental! age 13+ with a participating adult, suitable for 16+ without a supervising adult
Limited space and I want to give everyone the attention and support they need so please book in advance.
If you'd like to have a go at one monoprint technique, we will do a different technqiue each week, or , for the basics of tetrapack you can book one session for £35.
Monoprinting will be on 5,12 and 19 November.
Basic tetrapak will be on 26 November.
If you decide you want to continue with tetrapak after the first session, you can pay an extra £70 to attend on 2 and 10 December.
