Frequently asked questions

Is this event suitable for beginner's?

As long as you have a dslr or mirrorless camera and a little experience, I am happy to welcome first time studio users to this event!

What will I learn from this workshop?

Suitable for beginner's to semi pro photographers, the workshop will teach you creative lighting skills with both strobe and constant lights. You will learn techniques harking back the glamour days of Hollywood as well as contemporary lighting techniques for beauty.

What do I need to bring to the day?

A DSLR or mirrorless camera and 24 to 105mm lens or prime lenses; 50mm, 80mm 100mm. This workshop is NOT suitable for compact cameras or phones. A spare memory card and fully charged batteries. If you have a flash sync you are welcome to bring one, although they will be provided on the day!

Is lunch provided

No, but you are welcome to bring a lunch and there are plenty of cafes with easy walking distance of the Studio!
