Monoprint/Monotype

In this workshops you will be shown how to use printing Ink and diffrent tools to create your own one off print using either found images or your own drawings to create your own individual prints. You will spend time experimenting and playing with the materials before you plan and make your final images.

This technique is often seen as the most painterly method among the printmaking techniques. A monoprint or monotype is a non editionable kind of print and is very similar to drawings or paintings but the drawing or mark is usually made on a plate. (In this case a sheet of perspex).
