Join for one of two sessions in the afternoon on Halloween to take home your very own shadow puppet!
Each puppet template is designed to showcase a different technique within shadow puppetry. The wolf uses offset joints to howl and puff its chest at the same time. The witch uses a slide reveal to open her eyes, and the vampire becomes a bat with just a 90* turn. The outlines are laser cut so they can be easily removed from the templates and assembled using tape, glue and small split pins. My assistant and I will walk the participants through making wire joints where they are necessary and the steps to assemble joints and simple mechanisms.
This activity should take between 30 and 60 minutes. You can make as many puppets as you like in the session you book or leave after making just 1.
