Do you live in Meanwood, want to learn how to use a sewing machine and want to find out more about our craft courses and workshops?

Then come along to this FREE monthly Community Sewing Class and learn a new skill.

February 8th - Draft Excluders

March 7th - Patchwork Blankets

April 18th - Tote Bags

May 9th - Cushions

June 13th - Period Products

September 12th - Pencil Cases

October 10th - Fabric Bowls

November 14th - Hot Water Bottle Covers

December 12th - Christmas Stockings

Hot drinks and snacks will be available and you will get to take your finished project away with you! You can also help us make extras to be shared with the local community.

Stitch-Up studio is based at Meanwood Community Centre and we run courses, workshops and weekly community craft groups in the area!

You will get to meet our friendly Stitch-Up team and find out what we have planned for our spring workshop programme. You can have your say in helping us shape our 2024 programme of community craft activity as well.

No experience is necessary for this workshop, all levels are welcome.

This is a free workshop but booking is required, and any donations are welcome on the day.

If you do have an unused pillow or cushion (not feather) in good clean condition please bring it down and we can use the stuffing in the new draft excluder and cushion classes.

We are really looking forward to welcoming you.

There is ample parking available at the Community Centre Car Park. If you cannot fit in the Car Park, please park on the main part of Stainbeck Avenue, with consideration to the residents please do not park in the cul-de-sac.

The Stitch-Up Studio is to the rear of the Community Centre. Once you arrive in reception please follow the signs for Stitch-Up.

COVID SAFETY MEASURES:

* Please do not attend the studio if you are feeling unwell, have Covid 19 or have experienced any symptoms of Covid 19 in the 7 days prior to attending or have been in contact with anyone else who has had symptoms.

* Please use hand sanitiser on entry and exit of the studio.
