About this event

Do you live local to Meanwood Community Centre, aged over 55 and want to learn embroidery?

Stitch-Up has teamed up with the Royal Voluntary Service to offer a drop in embroidery workshop for over 55's, bring along an embroidery project or join in with one of our community projects.

As well as learning a new skill and meeting others you will have the opportunity to find out more about which other workshops, courses and groups we have on here at the community centre.

Hot drinks and snacks will be available and you will get to take your finished project away with you! You can also help us make extras to be shared with the local community.

Stitch-Up studio is based at Meanwood Community Centre and we run courses, workshops and weekly community craft groups in the area!

You will get to meet our friendly Stitch-Up team and find out what we have planned for our spring workshop programme. You can have your say in helping us shape our 2024 programme of community craft activity as well.

No experience is necessary for this workshop, all levels are welcome.

We are really looking forward to welcoming you.

There is ample parking available at the Community Centre Car Park. If you cannot fit in the Car Park, please park on the main part of Stainbeck Avenue, with consideration to the residents please do not park in the cul-de-sac.
