Monthly free tapping group on language learning
As a language teacher I know that many people (like me) experience frustration about learning a new language, compare themselves to others and/or struggle with hurdles around moving forward on their language learning journey. That’s why I have decided to do a monthly free tapping group, so that we can all move forward with more acceptance and ease!
I use a stress-reduction technique called EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) or Tapping to work through those hurdles in language learning. Check out my YouTube channel to explore general and language related tap-along videos: Cornelia Gruber - Tap with C - YouTube
My goal is to introduce more people to this simple, free, and effective self-help tool. Research continues to highlight its benefits, and I truly believe it can help us navigate language learning - and life in general - with greater ease and self-acceptance.
In this month’s free group tapping session, we’ll work on embarrassment. As language learners, most of us are familiar with that feeling when we don’t quite manage to reach our communication goal — maybe a native speaker switches languages after seeing the puzzled look on our face, or we don’t react as quickly as expected. Suddenly, that familiar wave of embarrassment and self-doubt hits — we feel like we’ve failed.
