Our peer support sessions are a safe and private platform where we come together to understand and value each other's experiences. Come and join us on MS Teams on the second Tuesday of every month from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

The peer support is run by Brain Health Breakthrough CIC, a not-for-profit organisation that has been supporting people with chronic energy-limiting conditions since July 2020. All our staff and facilitators have energy-limiting disabilities and personally understand the daily struggles and impact on your life. We are here to listen and support you.

ME/CFS, Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (ME), and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS) are neurological conditions that affect patients physically and cognitively. The main feature is persistent physical and mental fatigue, which differs from normal tiredness.

This condition, considered under the Equality Act 2010 and classified as a long-term neurological condition, affects people in unique ways. No two individuals experience ME/CFS in the same way, and your unique journey makes our community diverse and rich. It needs to be adequately relieved by rest and is usually disproportionate to the activity undertaken.
