Seema is a respected HR strategist and thought leader with over 20 years’ experience across diverse sectors. Currently the Commercial HR Rely Lead at Weightmans LLP, she is known for aligning business priorities with people-focused practices, driving innovation in HR, technology adoption, and organisational resilience.
A Chartered Member of the CIPD, Seema has extensive expertise in employee relations, employment law, and change management. Her career spans influential roles at Whitbread, EE, Boeing, and the BBC, where she managed high-risk casework, led Equal Pay initiatives, and partnered with senior leadership.
She also ran her own HR consultancy, supporting major corporates, NHS trusts, and universities, before becoming Associate Director of People Operations at a global business school, where she transformed HR operations and guided the organisation through the challenges of COVID-19 and hybrid working.
Having first engaged with Weightmans as a client, Seema played a key role in the rollout of its HR Rely service. Widely recognised for her strategic insight and commitment to inclusive workplace cultures, she is a trusted adviser to organisations navigating the future of work.
