About this event

  • Event lasts 2 hours

Pinpoint are offering more chances to meet in person with our Parent Connect sessions coming to venues across the county, but we know for many of us, getting out and about isnt that easy.

That's why we will still be online each month on Mondays 10am - 12pm so we can be with others in a safe space who understand. Be comfortable at our Tii Hubs so whether we are on camera or not, say things or listen, its a place for us.

Pinpoint provide help and information to parents and carers of children and young people aged 0-25 with additional needs and disabilities in Cambridgeshire.

Pinpoint are the OFFICIAL Parent Carer Forum for Cambridgeshire, and offer signposting and events for all things SEND. Pinpoint also give parent carers opportunities to have a say and get involved in improving local services.

No formal diagnosis is required to access support from Pinpoint – a child may be on a waiting list, accessing services, had a referral turned down, or just be struggling.

You will be sent an email containing the Zoom link to access the session 2 days before, 2 hours before and at the start of the session. Please do check your junk mail and spam folders as these emails sometimes end up there!

Be comfortable at Pinpoint sessions - You can keep your camera off and stay on mute and simply join us and other parent carers who “get it” from your sofa 😊

We offer practical sessions with visiting speakers and specialists. We can support you to better help your child or young person with high quality information, practical ideas, tips and techniques.

We specialise in signposting to relevant organisations.

We hold virtual coffee mornings called ‘Tii Hubs’ where you will always find a friendly face to chat to and can meet with other parents and carers in similar situations.
