Yes, there will be a toilet available at the visitor centre before the walk.

There will be hot and cold drinks, flapjacks and biscuits available in the shop before the walk starts. Card payments only.

Do I need to bring anything?

Just wrap up well. Bring binoculars if you have them but they are not essential.

We will be walking on Hengistbury Head and looking at the almost full moon. We will learn about the moon itself, including its distance from Earth, its orbit, and its impact on our planet. We will hear some moon folklore, moon poetry and maybe even a song! We will also explore the night sky, observing satellites, visible planets, and more.
