About this event

Each year I organise a MoOnday when the Baker Street Irregulars observe the beauty of the Moon. This year we shall be holding our lunar observing and imaging event at the Hub again on a Monday (MoOnday, get it!) when the Moon is at first Quarter, that is half illuminated and in the sky all afternoon and evening.

There will be many binoculars and telescopes of different sizes and designs available to observe the craters, mountain ranges and ‘seas’ on the lunar surface and basic information of the major features will be available together with a brief guide to Moongazing for Children.

As always, this a free, fun and family friendly event. However we do incur fixed costs for the event - we welcome a small donation when booking or at the event to ensure the hosting of future BSIA events.
