Event description

Description

Oxford's much-toured band 4-piece band, Moonrakers (Celtic harp, fiddle, stringed instruments, whistles, female/male vocals), give a full concert of songs and tunes from the English, Irish and Scottish tradition as well as their own compositions. Described as “startlingly talented” (Oxford Times) and now with five albums of "exquisite music "(BBC) and "truly wonderful" (Wycombe Festival) performances, Moonrakers present an informal evening of musical excellence and humour. To see and hear more, go to www.moonrakers.net

Benefit gig for Grenfell Tower survivors (Grenfell United), organised by Dark Bones poets. The evening will include poetry performances, with Moonrakers playing for about an hour. 7.30pm. Free entrance + donations.
