Travel: 271 Castleton bus leaves Sheffield Interchange at 09.40 arrives at the Fox House Inn 10.20

Parking: Longshaw Woodcroft National Trust car park – free to members

Cost: Free

Description: Through Longshaw Estate via Yarncliffe Quarry to Padley Gorge, up to Bole Hill quarry and the remains of the winding house for information on the history of the quarry and tramway. Descend the tramway and continue up to Lawrencefield and ascend to Over Owler Tor, then via Winyards Nick to Toads Mouth and back to the finish

Terrain: Moderate ascents and descents on good paths through woodland and open moors
