Description

A change to our regular programme....

The normal, discussion focussed format of the More Than Robots meetup has been adapted for online delivery.

To save us from Zooming out or being lost in the noise, the meet up will be in two sessions. Questions and networking will be done via chat. We will not have an open mic session in this meetup.

You only need to register once. Anyone who registers is free to attend either one or both of the sessions.

If you already registered for the offline event you do not need to re-register.

Meet-ups for anyone interested in the digital/youth/support venn

Digital and social media are essential elements for anyone supporting or working with children and young people. But, how in this rapidly changing area, do we stay relevant? What is effective? How do we manage risks and safeguard participants? Whilst we embrace the opportunities of digital, how do we ensure true participation?

Join us for the eleventh More Than Robots 'Digital Participation Meet-up' - very kindly hosted by the Parent Zone - to explore these topics and connect with others.

Who?

The meet up is intended for anyone interested in the role of digital in youth participation, engagement and support in any sector.

Speakers include:

and more...

What?

This small, informal event is an opportunity to discuss real examples of what does/doesn’t work, meet colleagues working on similar challenges and share useful research, news or updates

The morning will include short case studies plus plenty of time for discussion and networking

There will also be an 'open mic' session in which anyone can have a few minutes to share updates, pitch ideas or ask for help…

Why?

Through the meet-ups, we hope to strengthen links between organisations and professionals, highlight innovative practice and help others avoid common pitfalls so that, ultimately, all children and young people can be supported online safely, effectively and easily.
