Meet us on site at 9.45am at the Chiltern Rangers depot. Our address is 60 Fennels Road, High Wycombe, HP11 1SL. There is a pay and display car park right next door.
We will be getting in the minibus and visiting various sites to finish off our autumnal jobs as needed. If you would prefer to meet us on site, please call Morvern on 07882 602969 to find out where we will be.
The Task:
A mixtore of all things conservation!
Timings (please note these timings are approximate):
9.45: Arrival on site, please don't be late!
13.00: Lunch Break - please bring your own
15.00: Minibus arrives back at depot, thanks for your time!
What to bring:
Please bring your gloves (we will have spares) and dress for the weather and the task.
Long trousers are advisable as there may be ticks and thorny vegetation. We also recommend wearing steel toe capped or sturdy boots rather than trainers.
Wear layers that you can remove if you get hot whilst working. Bring a waterproof as most of our sites have no shelter from the rain. Or a hat and sun cream if it's sunny.
Please bring plenty of fluids and a packed lunch. We will bring a tea kit and biscuits.
Please note:
Biscuits are served at all Chiltern Rangers sessions. Please advise if you have an allergy.
Sometimes there is a need for us to use power tools that can be noisy.
