Founded in 1885 as a girls’ school for day and boarding pupils, St Catherine's remains a forward-looking educational establishment for young women which still retains the best values of the past whilst embracing new educational approaches and committing to preparing young women for their ongoing education and lives beyond School.

St Catherine’s is set in the beautiful countryside of the Surrey Hills, in the village of Bramley 3 miles south of Guildford on the A281, Horsham Road. It can also be reached by regular trains from Waterloo to Guildford. These run every 15 minutes and the journey takes approximately 40 minutes.
